Our leather finish on accessories possible imperfections or irregularities stemming from tanning or handcrafting are part of their originality and are due to the manual treatments to which they have been subjected so as to obtain a unique craft product.
Sensitively finished by skilled artisans in tanneries with oils and waxes, Certain leathers tend to darken or lighten with exposure to light, it's the process of natural aging.
They are intended to be worn and loved. And will only improve with age.
Use a dry cotton cloth to wipe off dirt or dust. Brush the body gently and apply leather conditioning cream every fortnight to keep the leather supple and stop it from drying out.
Use a breathable fabric bag to store.
A single artisan crafts each leather cladding. No animals, endangered or otherwise are ever reared primarily for hides.
The existing leather goods industry generates a lot of surplus hides that are rejected because of “imperfections” small scars or subtle variations.
This natural quality is a characteristic of leather. We source each hide from stock and sample lots where the leather has already been tanned and is lying unused.
Upcycling this leather adds to our valuable property.
Our artisans, called karigars are our master craftsmen. We begin the production after the sample is perfected and finally the pattern is made. Our products are all handmade by single artisans in small batches.
